Congratulations to Jacopo Cerutti for his performance at the Dakar!

Italian pilot Jacopo Cerutti, who WeVillas has proudly sponsored, successfully completed the 2018 edition of the famous Bikes Dakar!

First among the Italian racers and the twentieth absolute, Jacopo has been one of the most entertaining protagonists of the race: at the end of the 14 stages scheduled, Cerutti – in the race with its Husqvarna managed by Moto Racing Group – sounds rightfully satisfied of his amazing performance.

“A race lasts until the end”, he has declared.

“Even the last day was difficult. First dust, and then a pouring rain didn’t make things easy. I am happy with the ending: it was really hard to be able to climb the standings more than I did. The level of the competition at the Dakar is truly high”.

The supremacy amongst the Italian racers is definitely one of the most important results Jacopo was able to obtain, and the racer has already been celebrated in Como, his hometown. The 27-year old had closed the race at the 12th place in 2016 while, last year, an accident had unfortunately forced him to interrupt his performance.

This year, he was able to regain the prestige he rightfully deserves.
