The Ferrari 488 Spider is, currently, considered Italy's most beautiful car. In terms of acceleration, the car goes from 0 to 100 km/h in only 3,0 seconds, and from 0 to 200 km/h in about 8.7 seconds. Impressive. A throttle response which essentially eliminates that turbo lag that is typical to this kind of engine.

The spaceframe chassis that creates that beauty that is Ferrari 488 Spider is made out of 11 different 6000 series aluminum alloy and was produced at the Scaglietti centre of excellence.

Its Retractable Hard Top, which had debuted on the 458 Spider, not only provides a better protection from the outside world – necessary, when you're driving such a monster of performance – but also allows the driver to easily maneuver the whole rig, which can be raised and lowered even on the go, and in less than 15 seconds.
