Villa Agreste

Villa Agreste is a wonderful property for rent in Italy, which can accommodate up to 18 guests. It offers a magnificent view over the valley, that one connecting the city of Lucca to the Versilia seaside through Camaiore. There are countless views of the area’s hill towns, vineyards and olive groves, and a picture perfect Tuscan landscape from the estate itself, while the villa’s grounds are landscaped with lovely gardens, olive trees hundred years old, camellias, wisteria, and lilacs. For this reason, Villa Agreste is perfect for quiet retreats, especially with the tiled pool and lounge area: an ideal location for a happy family celebration or a real-Italy getaway.

Today a magnificent villa, once a monastery, Villa Agreste is set on three levels: the level with the terrace features a spacious, fC, all housed in the same ancient stone walls of the original building. Completed with a Tuscan hearth, five burner stove, large oven, refrigerator, freezer, and dishwasher, the kitchen also opens onto the terrace overlooking the gated pool and sundrenched hillside. Upstairs, on the main level of this luxury villa, lies the grand salon with fireplace, piano and many couches that overlooks the entire valley, with high ceilings, terracotta floors, and nice furniture.

The bedrooms and bathrooms wing is decorated in warm Tuscan colors, from yellow to red, familiar to the region. Bedrooms feature beds with luxurious linens, and the spacious bathrooms have both baths and hand showers covered in Italian tile.

Villa Agreste is located in a panoramic area between Camaiore and Pisa, fifty minutes from Florence and just a few miles far from the beautiful town of Lucca. This quaint and evocative city retains the charm of a small and ancient Italian City State; over the centuries it has managed to hold on to its independence and freedom by adopting a cautious policy.

Having miraculously escaped the devastation of war, today Lucca boasts one of the most extraordinary art heritage in Tuscany. The imposing tree-lined Renaissance walls which totally enclose it, the maze of medieval streets flanked by towers and smart boutiques, the enchanting Romanesque churches and bright inviting squares captivate the visitor who stands in awe of such unexpected beauty. According to the New York Times, Lucca is "the new place to visit in Italy".

Just a few miles from the area, there is the famous region of Versilia, whose coastal strip stretches between Viareggio and the dazzling and stylish Forte dei Marmi, one of the most popular seaside resorts in Tuscany.
