Location

The valley where Villa Ibisco is located is an original mix of famous thermal resorts, intact nature and ancient medieval villages. It is found in the deep and secret heart of Tuscany, between Florence and Lucca and, for centuries, was a crossroads for culture, trade and meetings. Her hills conceal villages and castles that from the “Swiss Pesciatina” stretch out until Vinci where the genius of Leonardo da Vinci was born.

Versilia Club beaches as well as Chianti most famous wineries and historical gardens are within one hour of reach. From the chestnut woods, passing through the landscape scattered with olives trees, we reach the valley where the precious waters of Montecatini Terme and the steam of Monsummano Terme’s grottos are born, and where the natural reserve of Padule di Fucecchio extends.

The Park of Pinocchio is twenty minutes away from this luxury Tuscan villa for rent, beach clubs of northern tuscan riviera are less than fifty minutes away and all around lie pedestrian villages (Montecatini Alto being the best one) where parents can eat, relax and watch their little ones run with the tuscan ones and no fear of cars.

There are several remarkable Art towns in the area of this villa, as Pisa, Lucca and Firenze, and also some beautiful and relatively unknown medioeval villages like Pietrasanta and Vinci. There are also a number of interesting contemporary gardens as well as some of the most incredible private villas of the world. The baths and spas date back to the fourteenth century and nowadays there are nine fully-functioning 'terme' spread around the town. Elegant, peaceful and relaxing, it is a perfect resting place, particularly appreciated in the past by Rossini, Verdi, Princess Grace, Orson Welles, Clark Gable, Douglas Fairbanks and assorted European royalty.
