Villa Tirrena

Grosseto - Tuscany - Italy

Originally built in 1570, Villa Tirrena is a stunning luxury property for rent in Tuscany, less than ten kilometers from Talamone. This typically Italian seafront villa is just a few meters away from the beach and located in a privileged position that will allow quietness and complete privacy. The magnificent garden surrounding the house also provides maximum reservation and plenty of outdoor space to relax and unwind.

Villa Tirrena was recently refurbished in full and, today, is a flawless meeting point between the past and the future. The home design becomes neoclassic through accurate historical research, with hardwood components and original clay floors. Wood-beamed ceilings make rooms airy. The stucco façade, professional kitchen, and design pool mix old Italian residential architecture with modern elements. Locally obtained Cotto, stone, wood, and marble complete this otherworldly picture.

A Mediterranean-style garden with ancient pine trees, palm trees, and olive groves enhances the 40.000 square meters exterior area and provides ample exercise room. The vegetable garden and an arched veranda covered in roses are close to the stucco house façade around the grove. In charge of the high position on the hill gently sloping down to the sea is an attractive outdoor living space and dining table that are exposed to the air and shaded by trees. An open porch next to the kitchen is enclosed by flower-covered walls and an outdoor table on three sides. Ingredients for the kitchen come from a vegetable garden in the back, for a truly local and organic cuisine.

Guests will also enjoy the swimming pool 100 meters from the property and just ten steps to the seaside. The pool is 19 by 4 meters in size and ranges from 1,2 meters shallow to 1,8 meters deep. It has a vanishing edge, a shallow end for simple entry and exit, and a chlorine system for the water.

The staff-only central kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and accessories for a perfect Italian food experience: a central island with a six-gas burner, a grill, a large convection oven, a huge refrigerator and freezer, an espresso maker, an American coffee maker, a microwave, and a table with four seats for prepping. An extra refrigerator and the ice maker are in a pantry next to the kitchen, past the winter garden.

The charming Villa Tirrena can accommodate up to twenty guests in its ten double bedrooms (one can be made twin), seven of which with ensuite bathrooms and three with private bathrooms next to the room.
