Villa Giulia

Villa Giulia is a grandious villa for rent set on twelve acres of land, high in the hills overlooking the coast of Portofino in Liguria with wonderful, wide open views of the Tyrrhennian Sea and the night- lights of Portofino’s famous port. It can accommodate up to 10 guests.

This luxury property offers total privacy and seclusion, and yet its location puts guests only a few minutes walk to the centre of town, that features a nice variety of shops and restaurants. The access to Villa Giulia is incredibly non-traditional: guests venture 200 meters (656 feet) into a tunnel bored into the sea rock of Portofino, then a lift (elevator) brings guests to the entrance gate, 80 meters (262 feet) up. A pathway through an impressive garden leads to the house built on three levels. Guests will undoubtedly use this platueau as a choice vantage point from which to marvel at the Sea of Portofino.

There is also a bar carved out from the rock of its natural surroundings. The beautiful areas of lawn and gardens are filled with flowers and trees. In the garden, there is a large outdoor dining terrace with seating for more than 10 people, and a traditionally planted garden with local trees, shrubs and herbs. A wonderful pool completes the pleasant external environment of Villa Giulia.
