Villas in Blevio
The town of Blevio, situated in a panoramic position on the eastern shore of Como Lake, is the perfect destination for a week's holiday in Italy. The city is the set of seven villages of ancient origin, called "the seven cities". The territory of the municipality covers an area of varying altitude between the slopes of Mount Boletto and the lake, from 200 to 1140 meters above sea level. Despite it's pretty small, Blevio has many tourist attractions to visit, such as the Church of SS Jordan and Epimachus, built in the second half of the '700, the Castle of Arona, built in 1994, the Portico Carlo Sacco, the War Memorial and the Monument to Enrico Caronti. Do not miss the enchanting villas in the area - Villa Al Poncett, Villa Roccabruna, Villa Ravasi, Villa Cademartori, Villa Troubetzkoy and Villa Da Riva - visible even boating around the shores of Como Lake near Blevio. Finally, above the path that leads from Brunate to Montepiatto, through the mountains of Blevio, you can admire the legendary Stone Nairola, a large flat board longer than 7 feet and about 5 high, on which you can find many shells and prehistoric engravings. WeVillas offers several proposals of luxury villas and apartments for rent near Blevio, which you can use if you are looking for a small and very characteristic place.
