Eataly will open in London in 2020

Eataly and British Land recently announced that the Italian franchise will open its first UK office in London, in 2020. Specifically, Eataly will occupy 3900 square meters on the first floor of 135 Bishopgate.

The Italian brand states: “Eataly will bring its original concept to London by bringing together the high quality of the Italian excellences. London’s cosmopolitan clientele will have the chance to eat, buy and learn Italian, all under one roof. With a selection of the best Italian products, restaurants, bars, quick services, production workshops and a cooking school, Eataly will become part of the rich offer of restaurants in the neighborhood”.

According to Claire Barber, head of Central London Retail and Meadowhall, British Land, “Eataly’s decision to open in Broadgate is a great opportunity for the British Land strategy to create an even more vibrant and international district”.
