Madonna celebrates a fashionist birthday in Italy
August 21, 2017Famous singer and pop icon Madonna has recently been spotted in Italy celebrating her 59th birthday with a lavish party in Lecce, in the Italian Apulia region, with her six children: Rocco, 17, and David, 11, as well as daughters Lourdes, 20, Mercy James, 11, and 4-year-old twins, Esther and Stella.
According to several sources, the star is keeping “the good times rolling while on her family vacation in Italy”, sporting a floor-sweeping dress by longtime friends Dolce & Gabbana. Even in 2017, Madonna is still rocking a “dolce vita” style and so is her son, David Banda.
Beautiful and decidedly feminine, with a relaxed look on her face and a white panama hat covering her head, the singer pulled off a printed floral summer dress coordinated with a tote that was covered in a complementary fruit motif.
Madonna’s love for Italy is well known: the superstar, née Louise Veronica Ciccone, was born in Bay Ciry, Michigan, has an Italian-Catholic background and her paternal grandparents were Italian immigrants. Madonna’s paternal grandfather was from Pacentro, Province of L’Aquila, Abruzzo, Italy.
Happy birthday, Madonna!
