Villa Abir is a beautiful villa built in the tipical style of the Egadi islands, which is located on the island of Favignana. The villa stands behind Cala Rossa and Cala Azzurra, three-minute ride from the sea and fifteen from the town center.

In this land there are three small quarries from which in the past was quarried the tuff.

Villa Abir is a beautiful villa on the island of Favignana, in the archipelago of the Egadi Islands. The villa is positioned behind Cala Rossa and Cala Azzurra just few minutes away from the sea and from the town center.
The island of Favignana is the largest of the Egadi Islands and is part of the Egadi Islands Marine Reserve. The island of Favignana is inhabited since prehistoric times, from which some graffiti remain in caves in the area of S. Nicola. Later the island was colonized by the Carthaginians, Romans, Arabs, Normans and Angevins.
Currently the main sources of income of the inhabitants of Favignana are fishing and tourism. The turquoise blue sea and beautiful bays make the island one of the most sought-after tourist destinations in the summer time.
At Favignana, beaches and coves are plenty available and it's really hard to choose which one you should visit. It should be recalled that when the beaches to the south are exposed to the wind, those in the north of the island are ideal for swimming, and vice versa. There are both rocky beaches (such as Cala Rossa and Cala Rotonda) and sandy beaches (such as Cala Azzurra and Cala Burrone), which satisfy even the most discerning bathers.
Because of the small size of the island of Favignana, bike and scooters are the ideal transports to move. They allow you to travel comfortably and reach any destination.
