Orticolario 2013 in Cernobbio: sins of gluttony in the garden

From 4 to 6 October 2013 Orticolario will be back with its fifth edition. This annual event dedicated to the garden, to green and all the emotions and experiences associated with them will be held at Villa Erba in Cernobbio on the shores of Como Lake.

This year the theme of the event will be the taste, the sense that will push all the visitors to commit "sins of gluttony in the garden", with workshops and fun - but especially tasty - activities. The purpose is mainly to make it clear to everyone, especially the children, that much of the food we eat and we are accustomed to find refined and packaged at the grocery store actually comes from nature.

Among the various workshops conducted by great experts and passionates, those cured by Slow Food, "It takes the fruit to make the seed" and "It takes a flower to make a fruit" are really remarkable. Definitely not to be missed!

Opening to the public:
Friday, October 4: 12 AM to 8 PM
Saturday, October 5: 9,30 AM to 8 PM
Sunday, October 6: 9,30 AM to 7 PM
On Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 October will be active boats-free shuttle between Piazza Cavour and the pier in the park of Villa Erba, as well as a shuttle service between the parkings available in Cernobbio and Villa Erba.
