Villa Napoleone

Villa Napoleone stands proudly as a residence nestled along the shores of Lake Lugano. Located in Italy, its proximity to the Swiss borders allows you to explore charming tows in both countries.

The expansive house features a thoughtful layout, with kitchens, leaving areas and bedrooms thoughtfully distributed across its three floors.

With a vast central living space (the salone) adorned with sofas, a grand piano, a bar trolley, and a fireplace, the heart of the home resides in the welcoming area. Doors opening onto the terrace make it an ideal spot for evening drinks.

The villa also boasts two kitchens: a large, fully-equipped kitchen with a generous dining area and a beckkitchen. You can dine indoors in the large dining area or head out on the terrace for dinner with stunning lake views.

The numerous rooms beckon for a restful night's sleep and all feature breathtaking lake views. Two double bedrooms boast en-suite bathrooms, completed by three more double bedrooms. These rooms share two additional bathrooms, offering a mix of bath and shower facilities.

A Tv and game room offers a cosy space for movie nights also featuring a rustic terrace.

In the second adjacent building, located right on the water, you can dive directly into the lake. In the style of a beachhouse, it features three double bedrooms and two bathrooms. Additionaly there is a new kitchen, directly leading to the terrace on the water. The dining area and a small lounge is also located on the terrace. All rooms enjoy the same beautiful lake view.

Outside villa Napoleone offers unparalleled views of the glistening Lake Lugano.

Expansive wraparound terraces, well-tended garden spaces, an al-fresco dining table, comfortable sun loungers and a direct access to the water via swimming dock complete the outdoor ambience, providing an ideal setting to soak in the natural beautyful of the surroundings.

Villa Napoleone's history: Napoleon coronated himself king of Italy in 1805. The italian generals helped him get rid off the Austrians. As a gift for a victorious battle he gave the villa Napoleone to his favourite general Ercole Brusati. He lived there with his family more than a decade. One hundred years later Franz Kafka described in his novel Villa Napoleone as the most beautiful estate right on the Lake of Lugano.
