This Mediterranean-style building is surrounded by a beautiful garden full of many ornamental plants and trees, including palm trees and ancient olive trees. The outdoors features a large swimming pool with a peculiar geometric shape and positioned in a very relaxing and green context. Bathrooms and showers complement the pool area, together with the exclusive verandas and an overall extremely wide outdoor space.
The villa opens on a spacious and bright living room characterized by very large windows directly connected both to the verandas and the pool area. The living area also includes a fireplace and a wooden staircase leading to the first floor and a bedroom. The kitchen, completely equipped, was built of masonry elements and fine and colored majolica tiles according to the typical Sicilian tradition.
On the ground floor you will find two bedrooms, a double bedroom and a single bedroom, plus a bathroom equipped with a shower.
The first floor of Villa Ericea features two more bedrooms, one double bedroom with stunning view of the sea, pool and garden, and a triple bedroom. The first-floor suite is definitely one of the main “pluses” of this amazing property: extremely fascinating from an aesthetical point of view, it can be reached by an external staircase to guarantee a perfect privacy and is the perfect place to dream. Villa Ericea is located in the Erice area in Sicily. Erice is a historic town and commune in the province of Trapani, and is located on the top of Mount Erice, overlooking the city of Trapani, the low western coast towards Marsala, the dramatic Punta del Saraceno and Capo San Vito, and the Aegadian Islands.
Erice, whose ancient Greek name was Eryx, was not a Greek colony and was instead founded by the Phoenicians, and only subsequently ended up being “Hellenized”.
Amongst the several main sights of the area, it is definitely worth remembering the remains of ancient Elymian and Phoenician walls indicating different stages of settlement and occupation in antiquity, and the two castles: Pepoli Castle, dating back to the Saracen Times, and Venus Castle, dating from the Norman period and built on top of the ancient Temple of Venus, where the deity Venus Ericina was once worshipped.
