Casa Neilos

Casa Neilos is a traditional Apulian masseria located a few kilometers away from the beautiful beaches of Monopoli, in the Bari province.

This beautiful single-story rural house was recently renovated with utmost care and respect for its natural surroundings. The result is a perfect combination of classic style and high-tech amenities that will immerse every guest in a unique atmosphere. Limestone and sandstone meet a cutting-edge domotic system and solar panels; contemporary interior design and high-quality fixtures appear atop 16th-century terracotta floors; locally sourced stone blends in with the fully equipped steel kitchen, creating a space that is both rustic and futuristic.

Immersed in lush Mediterranean vegetation and a grove of centuries-old olive trees, Casa Neilos embodies comfort and relaxation both in its indoor and outdoor spaces, thanks to its privacy-oriented location and stunning alfresco areas. The external space is more than generous – around 50.000 square meters – and features a private swimming pool (that includes a shallow end for children’s security) with a nearby hot shower, eight sunbeds and two sofas, a unique Mediterranean garden with yoga corner, a vegetable garden, a pizza oven for your outdoor meals, a dining table for twelve guests and an outside lounge. The property also includes a livable rooftop area with external cocktail bar equipment and an ice machine.

As far as interior design goes, the masseria fully respects the Apulian traditions, as visible in the wide use of natural stone and trullo vaults, while simultaneously creating a contemporary setting, especially in its choice of design furniture. Casa Neilos, a plastic-free property that revels in its perfect integration with the natural element, can accommodate up to eight guests in over 300 square meters thanks to four double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. There is also an extra bathroom and a media room that can be turned into a single room with a private bathroom for a possible ninth guest.
