Golositalia 2014 in Brescia, the excellence of Italian food and wine
January 21, 2014From 8 to 11 February 2014, the Fiera di Brescia hosts the event Golositalia, the third edition of the exhibition dedicated to the excellence of Italian food and wine, catering and professional equipment. In the stands of this Lombard city are expected around 350 national and international exhibitors, divided into 6 areas: Food, Wine, Beer, Equipment, Catering and Organic & Vegan. The event is open to both the public and operators.
Visitors to Golositalia will not only learn about and buy local products from all over Italy and some European countries, choosing among the best productions of meats, wine, beer, cheese, oil, sweets, truffles and whatnot, but also take part in interesting activities such as courses, show cooking, wine tasting, live demonstrations and seminars.
Particularly eye-catching are the home economics course on how to avoid waste food in the kitchen, learning to recycle left overs such as skin, bones and leaves, and the course that will teach you the ancient art of Emilian pasta made by hand. Do not miss the vegan show cooking and the one about small pastries creativity. As for the wine tasting, you will be spoiled for choice: products of the Montana Grand Paradis, Red Cows Parmesan cheese, string cheese, Brescia wines DOC, matching food and wine, spirits and liqueurs. Finally, the live demonstrations of cake design, carving fruit, bartending, cooking wellness and low temperature cooking.
Golositalia 2014 will overall in the complex Brixia Expo - Fiera di Brescia SpA, Via Caprera 5 in Brescia, just 500 meters from the Brescia Ovest motorway A4 Milan-Venice.
The opening hours are: Saturday 8 and Sunday February from 9:30am to 10:30pm, Monday 10 and Tuesday 11 February from 9:00am to 7:00pm. The ticket can be purchased in cash at a cost of € 5.
