Description
Villa Marina has an airy, artistic accent, like not many properties to be found in Versilia. This luxury villa for rent is actually fourty years old, and it has been tastefully rennovated quite recently. Its eclectic atmosphere is set with antiques, books and paintings, the interior is decorated in colourful and comfortable style.
This villa can accommodate up to 11 guests, since it features five bedrooms, of which three are of a superior quality, with beamed ceilings and floors in both parquet and ceramics. Their windows open to a pool house, which is completely independent from the main villa and perfect for large dining groups and happy times. These gardens have been landscaped with close care and include several local herbs, plants, and flowers.
Located in a remote, private setting, the entire property, both inside and out, provides absolute tranquillity. Although it feels private, the property is still within short reach of the attractive Forte dei Marmi and Marina di Pietrasanta. The legendary Tyrrhenian Sea upon which Versilia sits, is but a ten minute walk from Villa Marina or three minutes by bike. A haven for nature and sea lovers, this property for rent makes for a truly delightful holiday escape for families and groups of friends.

Location
POSITION
Marina di Pietrasanta
Villa Marina is set in Marina di Pietrasanta, limit to Forte dei Marmi, in the heart of Versilia. This area remains among the most popular of Tuscan seaside destinations on the Tyrrhenian. Marina di Pietrasanta is few minutes from Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi: tall shady pine trees are a feature of Marina which itself is divided into 4 districts: Fiumetto, Tonfano, Motrone and Focette, all of which are very popular offering the visitors everything from michelin star restaurants, cafes, night-life clubs and sports facilities. Unlike many popular Tuscan towns, Pietrasanta isn't a hill town and its historic center is a pleasant place for strolling.
Pietrasanta is a historic medieval and artistic town in northern Tuscany sometimes called the City of the Artists or Small Athens for its marble studios and monuments. Several international artists live or work here and there are art galleries and exhibits. The Bozzetti Museum is a very important museum of sculpture and sketches. The town has Roman origins but the modern town is named for its founder Guiscardo Pietrasanta.
The famous Villa della Versiliana is situated in a large wood of mostly pine and ancient trees, very close to the property: during the summer, musical and cultural events of world interest take place.
